It was the September 12th episode of WWE SmackDown and the main segment of the show was Billy and Chuck's commitment ceremony. In the end, it turned out to all be a sham and all a publicity stunt devised by their manager Rico.
This wasn't where it ended. It turned out that the minister was the RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff in disguise. Bischoff's henchmen Three Minute Warning - Rosey and Jamal - crashed the ceremony and laid out everyone, not even sparing SmackDown General Manager Stephanie McMahon.
After laying out Billy and Chuck, Jamal hit Stephanie McMahon with a nasty Samoan Drop while Eric Bischoff encouraged it from next to him.
This led to members of the SmackDown roster including a fresh-faced clean-cut John Cena coming out to chase them away and get medical attention for their General Manager.
