Survivor Series 2018 is less than a week away, and the match-card is already being finalised. The only thing left for WWE now is to fill in the final spot of SmackDown Live women's team in the traditional Survivor Series elimination match.

The Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, will take on the newly crowned WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. RAW women's champion, Ronda Rousey, will take on Charlotte Flair, the replacement of SmackDown Live women's champion Becky Lynch.

The Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins, will take on the United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. RAW tag team champions Authors Of Pain will battle their SmackDown counterpart, The Bar.

Also, three traditional Survivor Series elimination matches are scheduled for the event's main card. The Cruiserweight Championship match between the champion, Buddy Murphy, and the challenger, Mustafa Ali, will be in the kick-off show, and is the only championship match of the night.

Even though the card looks good, many big names are missing from the list. Part-timers like John Cena, The Undertaker, and Triple H are not going to the Staples Centre.

However, many full-time workers who should have been a part of the event are also going to miss it. On this list, we take a look at five top superstars who will miss Survivor Series 2018.

#5 Roman Reigns

There are no words to describe this. If everything had gone according to the plan, Roman Reigns would have been the Universal Champion heading into this PPV.

However, due to an unfortunate turn of events, Reigns had to relinquish his Universal title and take a hiatus from WWE. We may not see Reigns compete for a few months.

#4 Randy Orton

Randy Orton is one of the first names that pops to mind when we hear the term Survivor Series. The Viper has an outstanding record at the event, being the only guy to be a part of the winning Survivor Series team for a record five times.

However, similar to Dean Ambrose, Orton has been omitted from many PPVs. The Viper missed SummerSlam and Super Show-Down, and may miss Survivor Series.

Being one of the elite names in the industry, we would expect Orton to make it into the men's elimination match team.

However, surprisingly he was omitted from the list. The group comprises the captain Miz, Shane McMahon, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Hardy. One might feel Orton should have been in the team instead of Shane McMahon. However, it seems The Apex Predator will have to sit it out this time.

#3 Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose returned from his injury the week before SummerSlam. Ambrose missed the SummerSlam card, but was at Seth Rollins' side during the latter's Intercontinental Championship match against Dolph Ziggler.

Dean managed to make it onto the Hell in a Cell card, but failed to capture the tag team titles. However, The Lunatic Fringe did not make it onto the Crown Jewel card, and is almost certain to miss Survivor Series as well.

Since Dean isn't a champion, he cannot participate in any of the champion vs champion match-ups. However, he could have been a part of the traditional five on five Survivor Series elimination tag team match.

WWE decided to go with the team of Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Lashley, and Finn Balor, led by acting general manager, Baron Corbin.

However, Dean may play a pivotal role during Seth Rollins' clash against Shinsuke Nakamura.

#2 AJ Styles

If someone said AJ Styles would not be fighting at the 2018 iteration of Survivor Series 24 hours ago, he would have been laughed at.

However, a lot of things have happened in the past 24 hours. Styles was forced to defend his WWE title at the go-home episode of SmackDown Live against Daniel Bryan, following a brawl.

Bryan gave a low blow to Styles while the referee was blindsided. That was followed by his signature running knee to pin Styles on the mat for the three count.

Just like that, Styles got demoted from having one of the marquee matches on the cards to not having a match at all. This unfortunate turn of events is even more surreal because AJ was on a hot streak of 31 consecutive PPV appearances since his WrestleMania debut.

Styles will be sorely missed at this year's Survivor Series.

#1 Becky Lynch

Before this week's RAW, the build-up to Survivor Series was mediocre. None of the matches had spark, owing to the lack of time leading up to the battle of the brands. There was a mere two weeks interval between Crown Jewel and Survivor Series.

However, after the last episode of RAW, the clash between the RAW women's champion, Ronda Rousey, and the SmackDown women's champion become a must-watch due to the well-planned invasion angle by the SmackDown Live women's roster, led by Becky. Becky was brilliant during the whole segment, and emerged as a bad-ass champion.

However, during the segment, Nia Jax sucker punched Lynch - giving her a concussion, and a broken nose. Lynch bled, and her face was covered in blood. WWE soon ruled Becky out of Survivor Series.

"The Man" Becky Lynch would certainly be the most missed superstar at Survivor Series 2018.
