Which superstars are ready for the call-up?

Some WWE NXT Superstars come up to the main roster and do not really reach the expectations people have for them.

This could be because they have been called up too early, or maybe it is due to their booking by creative. One thing is for sure, there are at least 5 people that are more than ready to be called up.

Here we list them and the reasons why they are ready for the big time!

#5 Authors Of Pain

Authors of Pain

With the guidance of WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Ellering, the Authors of Pain have become one of the most dominant teams in NXT history.

The main roster is crying out for dominant tag teams as at the moment the majority of teams have been booked as Jobbers. Apart from The Bar, The Usos, The New Day and perhaps The Bludgeon Brothers, most other teams get no reaction (see Gable and Benjamin at the Rumble) and are not booked as a serious threat to the division.

No Matter what brand the AOP are chosen to appear on they could be a dominant force and have a one-way track to the Tag Team Titles, plus Ellering on the main roster is a must!

#4 Sanity

Each of Sanity can add a lot to Raw or Smackdown!

Another faction who could thrive on the main roster would have to be Sanity.

Eric Young is an in-ring veteran and could have come to the main roster straight away but it is good that he didn't. His star power has helped build up one of the most promising young factions in the WWE today.

As a team Young and Wolfe could be an excellent addition to the tag team division, Nikki Cross would also be a wildcard in the Women's. Then there is Killian Dain, who the WWE has already shown faith in as he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

Killian Dain has all the attributes to be a great main eventer, he is big fast and agile and has a different look. He has also stolen the show in the ring in almost every match he has competed in, with this in mind he would be a great addition to the main roster.

#3 Tommaso Ciampa

Ciampa has the potential to be one of the all-time great heels!

Tommaso Ciampa is going to be one of the greatest heels in WWE history in my opinion.

For a man that has been out of action for months, the amount of heat he generates with his one-off appearances is astounding and his new 'Cold Hearted' demeanour should really take him places in NXT and beyond.

Also, his in-ring work is stellar and he really knows how to tell a story in the ring. His rivalry with Johnny Gargano is eerily similar to that of Owens and Zayn's, while it really feels like they are destined to fight forever. This rivalry would be a welcome sight on the main roster.

#2 Johnny Gargano

Gargano could be the next ultimate underdog!

You cannot mention Ciampa without bringing up Gargano these days. I won't repeat the last slide but of course wherever Ciampa goes Gargano must follow and a vice versa.

On another topic, Gargano is one of the most over, and pure babyfaces in all of the WWE. The man truly has the potential to be the next Daniel Bryan story and is a real underdog with the ability to tell an amazing story in the ring.

Triple H said recently that he thinks Gargano is the last of the 'White meat babyfaces' which really shows the faith the higher-ups have in him. In an era where the fans refuse to have their favourites chosen for them he is a rare commodity and his stock would only continue to rise on the main roster.

#1 Andrade Cien Almas

The sky is the limit for Almas!

At first, it seemed like Almas booking was going to bury him straight away, but that was not the case.

Almas is a 5-star in-ring performer, and with Vega by his side, he is currently on a run as the NXT champion which personally, is my favourite in the title's history.

It seems as if creative are setting up Alesteir Black as the man to carry the NXT brand moving forward and I expect him to be champion after the next Takeover event.

After this rivalry, Almas will have gone through great matches with the majority of the roster and I think his surprise Rumble appearance was probably to see how he mixes with the main roster talent.

He has the ability, and along with Vega, can easily be the next great foreign heel and slip into the role that Alberto Del Rio used to fill.

The sky really is the limit for Almas and either brand would benefit from his in-ring work!
