The best tag team in the history of Wrestling and WWE also had their share of differences and fought each other at WrestleMania 14. They did have a lot of matches during the Attitude Era, but this one started the lengthy rivalry between the two wrestlers.

The Phenom was close to winning against Shawn Michaels during the inaugural Hell in a Cell match at Badd Blood: In Your House, Kane appeared out of nowhere and gave a tombstone piledriver to the legend. The wrestler helped The Reaper before setting him ablaze inside the casket at the Royal Rumble event. The rivalry began on the 2nd of March episode of RAW is War when Paul Bearer decided to pay a 10-bell salute to The Undertaker, but the sound went for a longer duration with increased intensity.

The Undertaker returned and discussed taking back his vow to the parents of never fighting his half-brother before locking horns at WrestleMania 14.
