#2 Is Brock Lesnar Universal Champion?

Brock Lesnar sensationally quit SmackDown on Friday night after he made an unscheduled appearance to kick off the show. Lesnar explained that he wanted revenge on Rey Mysterio for the attack he endured at the hands of the former World Champion, so he needed to make the move.

This was obviously because of The Fiend's win over Seth Rollins, which meant that Monday Night RAW had no main Champion for the first time since 2016. Lesnar s WWE Champion was then able to move over to RAW in the absence of a Champion and correct the balance.

The issue here is the fact that WWE's own Facebook page made the announcement about Lesnar quitting SmackDown and referred to him as the Universal Champion, a title that he most recently lost to Seth Rollins back at SummerSlam.

It's easy to see why WWE would have made this kind of mistake since Lesnar was Universal Champion for the best part of a year before he was defeated by Roman Reigns and once again after he defeated Braun Strowman last year at Crown Jewel. That being said, Lesnar is WWE Champion now, a fact that the company should probably know.
