Torrie Wilson began her career in WWE at the side of Tajiri, at the time Wilson was growing in popularity after making her way over to WWE from WCW and her romance with Tajiri and the storyline involving his jealousy helped to get Wilson over in her first year with the company.
Wilson and Stacy Keibler feuded throughout her time with Tajiri and after Wilson showed off her skills in a Lingerie match at No Mercy, Tajiri began getting jealous of the attention that Wilson was receiving from the male demographic within the company.

Wilson was forced to wear a geisha outfit by her on-screen partner in order to keep her from prying eyes, but after being mistreated by Tajiri on numerous occasions, the WWE Hall of Famer became tired of Tajiri's bullying and decided to disrobe on the announce table in front of the world and cost her boyfriend his match against The Hurricane.
This signaled the end of Wilson's partnership with Tajiri and the beginning of her face turn.
