Ric Flair returned to WWE towards the end of 2020 and was able to catch the eye of The Sassy Southern Belle.
It appeared as though Lacey Evans wanted to learn from The Dirtiest Player in the Game. The fact that this irked his daughter Charlotte came as a bonus. Flair helped Evans out several times in matches. He even helped her to defeat his own daughter before their storyline came to an abrupt conclusion.
Lacey Evans announced her pregnancy on a live episode of Monday Night RAW before leaving. She hasn't returned since and Charlotte later spoke to her father backstage before seemingly sending him home. Whilst the WWE Universe was made aware that Evans' pregnancy was real and this was why the storyline was scrapped, there was no on-screen ending to their story.
Ric Flair's recent surprise WWE release also means that when Lacey Evans does finally make her return, the storyline won't be able to be wrapped up.
