#3 Wardlow
Much like the Hangman Page choice, there is a method to the madness. Brodie Lee is not in AEW to claim the top spot but to shepherd the next generation of AEW Wrestlers. Wardlow had a baptism by fire when he was in a cage match with Cody Rhodes. The match was brutal and hardened back to a bygone day, where blood and guts are what it took to survive.
Wardlow possesses natural strength, and while he's serving as MJF's henchman/bodyguard at the moment, it won't last. Think back to Shawn Michaels and Diesel or even The Million Dollar Man and Virgil. History has a way of repeating itself, and what has happened before will happen again.
AEW was criticized for having a lack of "Big Guys" or "Hoffs." But that has slowly changed with the addition of people like Jake Hager, Lance Archer, and now, Brodie Lee. While not as tall as other 'Hoffs,' Wardlow is as strong as an ox and is imposing enough to pull it off as good as any other.
It'll be interesting if this feud does happen down the line.
