5 potential matches The Undertaker could have at WrestleMania

Will the good times roll in New Orleans?

The Undertaker is the greatest of all time. The man has entertained WWE fans for more than two decades and still continues to captivate the audience with his 'supernatural' character. One of Vince McMahon's greatest creations, he went on to become a WrestleMania sensation, accruing a 23-2 record at The Showcase of the Immortals.

However, the last few outings of "The Phenom" haven't been well received by the critics or the audience. The main event of WrestleMania 33 ended with Roman Reigns defeating The Undertaker in an outing that could still prove to be Texan's last. However, the rumour mill is still swirling with reports suggesting that he could have one final ride at WrestleMania 34.

With that being said, here are 5 matches The Undertaker could have at the Superdome.

#1 The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship

The Deadman might look for payback this WrestleMania

Now from a booking standpoint, this match makes a lot of sense. The Streak came to an end at the hands of Brock Lesnar, and the Deadman also suffered another setback at WrestleMania 33 versus Roman Reigns.

So, what better way for The Undertaker to exact retribution than by defeating the two men in a contest with Monday Raw's biggest prize on the line?

#2 The Undertaker vs Braun Strowman (Last Man Standing Match)

Can The Monster Among Men defeat the Phenom?

The Undertaker Vs Braun Strowman looks solid on paper. A match of this calibre certainly needs a WrestleMania showdown with "The Monster Among Men" challenging to take down the Phenom once and for all. The match was originally scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 32 but Strowman's lack of connection with the audience led Vince to think otherwise.

Fast forward things, and in 2018, Braun Strowman is the hottest commodity on Monday Night Raw. With Vince & the WWE Universe totally behind Strowman, a WrestleMania collision with the Deadman seems likeable. Add a Last Man Standing stipulation to the match and we have a gigantic main event bout in our hands for "The Showcase Of The Immortals" with "The Monster Among Men" defeating the Undertaker & taking that final rub to cement his place as a force to reckon with.

#3 The Undertaker vs Seth Rollins

Does The Architect have what it takes to beat the Deadman?

Who would have ever thought of the possibility of an Undertaker-Seth Rollins match at WrestleMania? Well, now this seems likeable that we might be able to see The KingSlayer face off against The Deadman in a classic encounter at The Show Of Shows. Seth Rollins originally rumoured to face his Shield counterpart, Dean is now left without an opponent after the latter got injured.

Currently involved in a story with Jason Jordan, Seth Rollins needs a real dancing partner at WrestleMania to bring back the Architect within him. A potential match with The Undertaker can rebuild Rollins career and cement him as one of the top stars in WWE. Seth Rollins vs The Undertaker has all the ingredients to be a classic match.

#4 The Undertaker vs The "Demon" Finn Balor

A Deadman. A Demon. A Dream match.

If Vince McMahon wants to bring back The Undertaker for a final match at WrestleMania, then a potential dream feud with Finn Balor seems possible. This match has been one of the many dream matches to have never happened inside the squared circle. The First ever Universal Champion has remained directionless for most of 2017, having a lacklustre feud with Bray Wyatt and a surprising 'one night only' bout with "The Phenomenal One.

Balor, who was originally determined to face "The Beast Incarnate" at The Royal Rumble, is now considered not 'over' according to Vince McMahon. The only legitimate factor that works for Finn is his alter ego i.e. "The Demon King". A 'heel' Demon King's face off with the Deadman at WrestleMania will not only redefine Finn Balor's career but will also be a passing of the torch moment with "The Demon" overcoming "The Phenom". Well, let us dream.

#5 'Big Match' John vs The Undertaker

<p>
It's about damn time that The Cenation leader squares off against The Deadman

This is a match that is destined to happen sooner or later. The Undertaker deserves a proper send off. Despite being involved in mindless feuds since WrestleMania 30, the only match that the WWE Universe actually want to invest in is the inevitable battle between the 16-time World Champion and "The Phenom".

This dream match has all the potential to be one of the greatest feuds of all time. Since John & The Undertaker both have now, unfortunately, become part-timers, the fans expect this match to be the final outing of The Undertaker. The match has never happened on a grand stage and deserves proper recognition and booking. According to the rumours circulating John's major role at WrestleMania, the WWE Universe is anticipating a dream clash with the character that has entertained us for over 25 years.
