Edge and The Undertaker go back a long way

When Edge cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on The Undertaker back in May 2007, the Rated R Superstar started a feud that lasted over a year. The Deadman had just defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Batista in a hellacious steel cage match and was forced into action again, where he eventually lost.

The Undertaker was even kayfabe fired during this storyline which included multiple title changes and innumerable interferences. The Undertaker would then be reinstated and he would see off Edge in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam.

Now, when Edge returned to WWE earlier this year, he mentioned that he wants to relive his past inside the ring. He also said that he's only here for a short time so he wants to make the most of it.

Nothing spells making the most of an opportunity than facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Both these WWE legends are extremely over with the fans so any outcome should be acceptable too.

Edge would have more of a purpose in this feud but The Undertaker too could be looking at this as an opportunity to secure that last big win before he eventually decides to hang up his boots.
