Believe it or not, while Brock Lesnar is no longer signed to WWE, Goldberg is on contract for 2 matches a year, until the year 2023. In fact, this is what Goldberg had to say in a recent interview:

Now, provided Brock Lesnar re-signs with WWE before the year 2021, this section is null and void, but if you look at the number of releases and cutbacks that have happened in 2020, there is a slim possibility that Vince McMahon may not want to re-sign Brock Lesnar to a contract anytime soon.
This also holds true if Brock Lesnar goes over to AEW for the first time in his career.
Vince McMahon may just decide that he has a monstrous part-time character in Goldberg already on contract and that, under the current circumstances, he does not need Brock Lesnar.
