Nak vs Reigns will be an interesting feud
Being a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Roman Reigns would certainly prefer carrying some gold around his waist, as he heads into WrestleMania 36. After all, you cannot blame a superstar for challenging for the newly inaugurated, beautiful Intercontinental Championship.

With Shinsuke Nakamura having held the IC Title for almost 200 days now, there is certainly no surprise to the fact that 'The King of Strong Style' hasn't been doing much with the title, despite being awarded the brand new design of the championship belt.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
On the other hand, Reigns has been the constant main event on SmackDown Live and putting the IC Title on him would definitely be a wise decision from WWE, if they hope to see the Intercontinental Championship get some much-needed exposure on live TV.

Reigns' first reign as IC Champion came way back in 2017 and had only lasted for 63 days, therefore, a second reign for 'The Big Dog' would pretty much be welcome at this point and would definitely benefit Reigns. With WWE on its way to Saudi Arabia once again, a match between Reigns and Nakamura for the IC Title at the Super Showdown could actually be a great idea.
Eventually, WWE could execute the idea of a Fatal-Four Way Match between Reigns, Nakamura, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 36.
