5 Possible feuds for Aleister Black after being drafted to RAW

Aleister Black
Aleister Black

Aleister Black has been one of the most unique characters in WWE for a long time. From the moment he stepped foot in NXT, he has enthralled fans with his dark, ominous character. After having a successful stint, he moved up to the main roster, forming a tag team with Ricochet. He made his main roster debut on RAW, moved to SmackDown during the Superstar Shake-up before being drafted to RAW again.

Up until now, he's been having squash matches against local talents that may get stale soon. Looking at the RAW roster, it's not a doubt that there are many wrestlers he could pick a feud with and entertain fans. Therefore, WWE should soon give him meaningful feuds and help him connect better with fans.

He's capable of working any style comfortably as witnessed in NXT. He has a unique look and a solid backstory, therefore, it shouldn't be a trouble to get him over with the fans. With that said, here we will look at five big matches for Aleister Black.

#5 Aleister Black vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton
Randy Orton

Randy Orton has been focusing on giving the spotlight to younger wrestlers for the last few years. Once a legit main eventer, he now wants to establish the next generation and help them dominate the wrestling scene, just like he used to.

He recently helped Kofi Kingston look like a star and came out on the losing end of their feud for the WWE Championship. Ric Flair picked him to captain his team for the match at Crown Jewel, which was followed by Orton moving to RAW.

He doesn't have any other feud set in stone at the moment, and therefore he could work against Black following Crown Jewel. Black and Orton share a lot of similarities in terms of their evil nature. They both want to be on the top and will do anything to get there. Just imagine a moment where Orton does his RKO taunt only to find Black sitting cross-legged. It will surely enthrall the fans.

They've faced each other at live events in the past, so it's clear that WWE wants this feud to happen sometime. Orton could be the veteran trying to stay on top, whereas Black will look to wipe out anyone on his way to the top. If given enough time, this could be a WrestleMania worthy feud, where the torch is passed.

#4 Aleister Black vs. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins

What better way to give Black some instant credibility than a feud with Seth Rollins? The Universal Champion has been on a bit of a slump recently and has been getting some hate from fans. He is set to face The Fiend at Crown Jewel, and a victory would only buy him more hate from fans.

There have been rumors of a possible heel turn, and that could be possible in the next few months. By the time WWE can establish Aleister Black as a top wrestler by giving him a few successful feuds.

Finally, they can put them in a feud where Black tries to absolve Rollins of all his sins. Stylistically speaking, they will merge well and put on great matches. A victory for Black would ensure he gets over as a main eventer, and be the start of many more great things.

#3 Aleister Black vs. Ricochet

Ricochet
Ricochet

Ricochet doesn't feel like he has any momentum behind him at the moment. After a successful first few months, interest in him dropped, and he's now stuck in the mid-card scene. Being a part of Team Hogan means that he'll probably get a win at Crown Jewel. But beyond that, he doesn't have any feud set in stone.

WWE can put him against Aleister Black. It won't be a bloody rivalry, but they have some history together. The duo paired up on NXT and won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Even when they made their main roster debuts, it was as a team.

It's clear that they have a lot of respect for each other and could ultimately feud just to find the better man. Not to mention, they have the potential to put on show-stealing matches if given the time.

#2 Aleister Black vs. AJ Styles

AJ Styles
AJ Styles

AJ Styles has recently dominated his competition by defeating all newcomers. He won the WWE United States Championship by dethroning Ricochet and since then, has held on to his title strong. The likes of Cedric Alexander and Braun Strowman have failed to beat him. During the recent draft, Styles moved to RAW, along with the rest of The O.C.

At Crown Jewel, Styles will defend his title against the winner of a Battle Royal. Styles will likely lose his title to Kevin Owens after the PPV and move on. He has lived under the impression that the young guys in WWE aren't ready and mocked them at every chance.

WWE can slot him in a feud against Aleister Black, where he's trying to do the same thing. He leaned on his years of experience to defeat Ricochet and Cedric, but that may not be enough to defeat Black.

The former NXT Champion is as intense as it gets, and his 'style' will merge well with Styles, resulting in a great feud. Black could finally prove Styles wrong when he beats him. This will be a huge boost in momentum and could propel Black into the title picture.

#1 Aleister Black vs. The Undertaker

The Undertaker
The Undertaker

This entry is far-fetched as we only witness the Undertaker on rare occasions, but if he were to have one final feud, it can be against Aleister Black. And I'll tell you why.

The Undertaker has been the darkest character of the last three decades and still manages to send chills down fans' spines whenever he makes an appearance. Though he is old and doesn't have his WrestleMania undefeated streak, he still has a lot of aura around him. Unfortunately, that isn't going to last forever.

After his disastrous match with Goldberg, he teamed up with Roman Reigns to defeat Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon at Extreme Rules 2019. While that was a good showing, his career should end in a singles match at WrestleMania. He has shown interest in working with younger wrestlers to give them the push.

There are a few standouts on the roster, and Aleister Black is one of them. First and foremost, they have quite similar characters that can propel the story. Black has gone on record to say that Undertaker was an inspiration for his character.

Secondly, Black has all the talent to get a good match out of the deadman. A WrestleMania match between the two with Undertaker's career on the line is intriguing to think. The entrances will be spectacular, and The Phenom can give it his all before finally bowing down to The Dutch Destroyer. There is a lot of potential for great storytelling if this feud happens.
