How will this match finish?

On Sunday, Bayley is set to make history as she defends her title for the first time against the chosen one, Charlotte Flair, at Fastlane 2017. In what should be a solid exhibition of women's wrestling, the two will lock horns in front of the Milwaukee crowd.

When Bayley won the Raw Women's Championship on Monday Night Raw, we saw the birth of a new main event star. However, many have said that the final stop before WrestleMania would be where her stardom would be truly born or decimated.

As Michael Cole lets us know every week, Charlotte is undefeated in title matches on pay-per-view. This places her as a heavy favourite for the bout on Sunday. Regardless of who is set to win, there are several ways the match could end that leaves both competitors looking strong going into WrestleMania.

Here are 5 possible finishes to the Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte match.

#5 Dana Brooke interferes

Charlotte has lost 1 match on PPV

Ever since her debut on Monday Night Raw, Dana Brooke has been portrayed as Charlotte's little sidekick who does all her dirty work. Anytime she's appeared at ringside she's helped Charlotte cheat her way to victory.

Brooke has never been able to come into her own light as a performer as she's spent her career in the shadow of Charlotte.

As history has shown us, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for Dana Brooke to give Bayley a quick punch when the referee's not looking, leading to a Charlotte victory. That's her role, that's what she does and that's what Queen Charlotte expects of her.

#4 Sasha turns heel

Wouldn’t be entirely unexpected

It's been teased for a long time and many have cried out for it. It's fair to say that ever since the end of the Charlotte-Banks feud, Sasha has been stuck in somewhat of a black vacuum.

The two women made history on RAW and have set the bar high for all females on the roster but one has continued to progress whilst the other has stagnated.

The whole Sasha Banks character has turned stale and her only lingering relevance on TV are her links to Bayley. And that's why for Banks to be revived to her former prominence, she must turn on Bayley on Sunday.

The boss herself confirmed that she would be in the Hugger's corner for the title match at Fastlane, hence setting up a potential heel turn. I suppose we can only hope.

#3 Bayley breaks the streak

Bayley has lost 84 matches in the WWE

Or how about we just go against everything we've ever known in the world of wrestling and have Bayley win, clean. Yes, instead of saving Bayley's big win for WrestleMania why not have the most likeable babyface on the roster shock the world and pull off the upset?

We as WWE fans always complain that the creative team give us predictable storylines, so let's embrace them actually third guessing us for once.

Bayley retaining her title clean also puts her firmly at the top of the women's division. Currently, she's seen as a transitional title holder, someone who's just keeping the championship warm until Charlotte or Sasha claim it back.

This would be the perfect way to show that Bayley is a serious player on Monday nights and will increase competition on the roster.

#2 Charlotte pins Bayley with her foot on the rope

Charlotte only won 48% of her matches in NXT

To help protect the validity of Bayley whilst also keeping Charlotte dominant, an inconclusive finish must take place. Bayley getting robbed of the title she's worked so hard to gain would evoke a lot of sympathy from the WWE Universe.

On the flip side, Charlotte regaining her coveted title by not truly beating Bayley would draw enormous amounts of heat, heat that a heel needs. It's a win-win scenario that creates more tension for their expected WrestleMania bout.

The PPV before WrestleMania is always used as the event to set up major storylines for the show of shows. Fastlane should leave stones unturned and cliff-hangers present for Mania.

This scenario is perfect, Charlotte goes into WrestleMania with her streak still intact with Bayley looking like the ultimate underdog.

#1 Nia Jax destroys everyone

Nia Jax pins Bayley in the ring on Monday Night Raw
Nia Jax has won 100% of her matches on PPV

On Monday night, Nia Jax made a big statement by pinning the women's champion herself.

Ever since her debut on Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax has been an unstoppable force that has run through everything on the roster, even Sasha Banks. So why not heat up the road to WrestleMania by having the Samoan beast put the whole division on blast?

After watching an epic back and forth between Charlotte and Bayley, Nia Jax as the true heel she is could come down and just wipe out everyone, including Banks. This would leave the match as a no contest, ending in disqualification.

The implications of her actions could then persuade Stephanie McMahon to reward her with a title match, resulting in a fatal 4-way at WrestleMania.
