5 possible future opponents of Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt deserves to be a main-eventer

Windham Rotunda made his main roster debut as a member of a faction called Nexus. But within a blink of an eye, he found himself heading back to WWE’s development territory. Windham Rotunda's hard work and dedication soon paid off, as the year 2013 witnessed the birth of the creepiest character ever in the WWE, Bray Wyatt. 'Eater of Worlds' was the breath of fresh air that WWE so desperately needed at that point in time. Everybody predicted that Bray's career was headed in the right direction, but the well-deserved push never materialized.

Heading towards the fast approaching road to WrestleMania, Bray has little to no momentum in his favour. He is on an unenviable PPV losing spree. Bray's most recent rivalry with Finn Balor, has caused further irreparable damage to his already floundering career. But the highly anticipated introduction of Sister Abigail might just prove to be the saving grace for him.

Bray Wyatt has immense potential, and it is high time that WWE utilizes him in an effective manner. Thus, here are five potential opponents, Bray Wyatt can have a meaningful rivalry with.

#1 Braun Strowman

This match should have already happened by now

Braun Strowman has taken the entire WWE Universe by storm. Many are even calling him the next big thing in the WWE. Braun is, without any shadow of a doubt, the agilest giant to ever grace a WWE ring. His recent rivalry with Roman Reigns is being hailed by many, as the feud of the year thus far. But the juggernaut known as Braun Strowman is merely gaining momentum.

Braun made his RAW debut as a member of the Wyatt family. Therefore, a feud between Bray and him will make total sense. Bray can once again try to make Braun his disciple. But Braun will obviously be in no mood to follow the buzzards, leading to an intense feud between the two former members of the Wyatt clan.

#2 Seth Rollins

Their rivalry should last longer than just one match

It's no secret that when it comes to pure wrestling skills, Seth Rollins is miles ahead of the other two members of The Shield. Seth is a heavyweight wrestler who can even deliver high flying moves with equal ease. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Seth has one great match after another with all his opponents.

Rollins and Bray battled each other once on a PPV this year. But the match felt rushed and could not meet the high expectations of the fans. But both these wrestlers are capable of creating sheer magic in the ring together. Thus, their rivalry is too big to end in just one match. Once TLC is over, WWE should make these two lock horns inside a WWE ring once again.

#3 Samoa Joe

Joe v/s Bray will be an intense match

Samoa Joe is the biggest crowd puller for the WWE right now. Ever since graduating from NXT and moving to RAW, he established himself as a serious contender for the Universal Championship. His match against the beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar, showcased to the world what he is capable of delivering inside the squared circle.

The Samoan submission machine has the ability to render a great match with any wrestler on this god's green earth. Thus, if WWE pit these two incredibly talented professionals in the ring against each other, the result will be a back-and-forth wrestling spectacle. A feud with Joe is exactly what Bray needs to once again establish him as a main eventer.

#4 Roman Reigns

The Big Dog against Bray Wyatt can be a brutal match

Roman Reigns might be the biggest star in the WWE at the moment, but he is not a technically gifted wrestler by any means. Still, he is more than capable of delivering, one brutal match after another. Reigns created pure magic in the ring along with Braun Strowman, and he can certainly do the same with the former leader of the Wyatt family.

Whether we like it or not, the Roman empire is here to stay, and the WWE is his yard now. Thus, a match with Reigns will once again bring Bray into the limelight. Bray and Roman can have, one hardcore match after another and maybe Sister Abigail will prove to be the decisive factor in their matches.

#5 John Cena

It is time to reignite this feud

Unfortunately, John Cena is not a full-time wrestler anymore. He has his hands covered with a slew of Hollywood projects. But Cena will keep coming back to the WWE, as and when his crazy schedule allows him to do so. The leader of the Cenation believes in putting over younger talent, and nobody deserves a push more than Bray Wyatt at the moment.

Cena and Bray had a heated rivalry in the past. But maybe it’s time to revive what clearly was the biggest feud of Bray Wyatt’s career. A win over a legend like John Cena will certainly put Bray Wyatt back on the map. If Cena and Bray collide in the future, then the match has the potential of being an edge of the seat thriller.

WWE should book Bray in the above mentioned meaningful feuds as soon as possible. He should become the star that he was always meant to be. And with Sister Abigail by his side (or inside), Bray’s dreams might just come true.

Bray Wyatt’s career can still be salvaged, and the Sister Abigail storyline might be WWE’s last opportunity to do so.
