#4 The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns

The Undertaker surprisingly joined forces with Roman Reigns last month when he helped his former WrestleMania rival to survive an attack from Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre on Raw.

Fast forward to Extreme Rules and the two duos battled it out in a well-received No Holds Barred tag team match, with the impressive “Deadman” picking up the win for his team following a Tombstone Piledriver on McMahon.

It was recently reported by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer that WWE is advertising The Undertaker vs. McIntyre locally for SummerSlam, but he has been told that nothing should be read into it (i.e. Undertaker’s opponent is still unknown).

Although McIntyre would make sense from a storyline perspective, a rematch two-and-a-half years in the making between ‘Taker and Reigns would be a lot more intriguing.

Why? Because not only would the outcome be difficult to call, but Reigns has said in out-of-character interviews that he was disappointed with his own performance against “The Phenom” in their WrestleMania 33 main event in 2017.

Now, with more storyline build-up, Big Dog vs. Big Dog II would be worthy of the SummerSlam main event.
