Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have a long and well-documented history in the ring together, and fans know that they can't expect a classic whenever they step foot between the ropes.

That being said, this match has already happened several times in the WWE and undoubtedly feels like the laziest route for them to go down. If Sami or Kevin turns on the other, like they teased this week on Smackdown, it would basically be a carbon copy of the Jericho and Owens feud from this time last year.

The chances of this happening increased this week and that could be down to Daniel Bryan's current condition within the company. If they have not medically cleared Bryan to return to the ring, then there is every chance the WWE could quietly fade Shane and Bryan into the background and have Sami and Owens implode to end the storyline.
