If WWE had penciled in Roman Reigns to fight The Fiend Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36 originally, the returns of John Cena and Goldberg tempted the company to alter those plans. It is likely that WWE could have plotted a Universal title feud between Reigns and Wyatt after WrestleMania 36.

Now that the Big Dog is not a part of the Showcase of Immortals, WWE will have to delay any such feud a little longer, but that does not mean that the rivalry will never happen. There is no clarity over Roman Reigns' return date, but one can expect him to be back when the Corona virus situation comes under control.

WWE may move back to hosting shows in jam-packed arenas once again, once they do, it seems certain that they will make a big deal out of the grand return of the former Universal Champion - possibly the ideal time for Wyatt to make his mark.

It is worthy noting that Wyatt has already come up on the losing end of a feud against Reigns in the past, and thus would no doubt be keen to avenge that loss. Such an aspect only adds to what could be a very interesting feud indeed.
