Drew McIntyre is a talent with immense potential as a single star. The only stumbling block for him at the moment is that he is locked in a tag-team with Dolph Ziggler.
The two men are the reigning RAW tag team champions, and while they have put on some impressive matches, it is imperative that McIntyre breaks away from Ziggler and carves his own path in the near future.
Even though Dolph Ziggler is an outstanding in-ring performer, WWE's inconsistent and poor booking of the show-off has rendered him irrelevant. Even his intriguing storyline with the United States Championship was abruptly ended when he appeared as the number 30 entrant in the 2018 Royal Rumble, where he was eliminated in mere seconds. WWE writers have made it clear that they are not willing to put the spotlight on Ziggler.
Hence a feud between the current RAW tag team champions would be the way to go. Both of the wrestlers involved are brilliant in the ring, and it is guaranteed that the payoff match would be great.
