5 possible ways to book SAnitY's main roster debut on SmackDown Live

SAnitY will soon make their debut on SD Live

Ever since making their WWE debut in 2016, SAnitY has pretty much wreaked havoc and destroyed everyone who had decided to step up to plate and go toe-to-toe with four of WWE’s most savage Superstars in Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe, and Nikki Cross.

During their stint on WWE’s developmental brand, better known as NXT, SAnitY pretty much ran roughshod through the entire NXT roster and also went on to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships on one solitary occasion, when they defeated former champions The Authors of Pain in a really impressive manner at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III last year.

After a very successful tenure on NXT TV, SAnitY eventually earned their main roster call-up earlier this year, as part of the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-up. However, despite being called up to the main roster several weeks ago, SAnitY—now without the services of Nikki Cross, who is still in NXT—are yet to make their on-screen debut for the blue brand of SmackDown Live.

Upon their official debut on the main roster, WWE needs to make sure that SAnitY’s debut is on point and they manage to make a mark on their very first appearance on SmackDown Live.

#5 SAnitY steps up to The Bludgeon Brothers

The Bludgeon Brothers

Since winning the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 34 in a convincing manner, The Bludgeon Brothers have been on an absolute roll and are almost next to unstoppable.

The duo of Harper and Rowan have pretty much dominated former tag champs The Usos and The New Day, in the early stages of 2018 and come this year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, both Harper and Rowan are once again expected to retain their titles against the resilient duo of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

Following their successful title defense against The Good Brothers, The Bludgeon Brothers will be in a desperate need of a new set of opposition and it’ll be the perfect time for SAnitY to answer the call and step up to the plate in order to challenge for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles.

#4 SAnitY wreaks havoc on their very first appearance

Sanity will look destroy everyone on the main roster

The trio of Eric Young, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe is best known for their demolishing skills and what better way to introduce them on the main roster rather than have them ruin and wreak havoc on the entire blue brand.

The best possible way to do so is to have SAnitY run-in during a high profile match on SmackDown Live or during a pay-per-view (Daniel Bryan vs Samoa Joe at SummerSlam for instance) and have them destroy both men in a grueling manner, forcing the referee to end the match in a No-contest.

But, that’s not all, the trio of Young, Dain, and Wolfe then go on to destroy the ring set, put both Bryan and Joe through the announce table in order to attract some additional heel heat and even beat up a few referees, medical personnel, and security guards as well.

Now, if WWE hopes to pull off the same angle, but in a much bigger manner, then let them have SAnitY ruin a very high profile championship match, most preferably have them run-in during the upcoming WWE Title match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura at Money in the Bank and destroy both men in the process, keeping the status of the WWE Title in question as well.

#3 Young, Dain, and Wolfe destroy a few local talents on SmackDown Live

At this point in time, this seems like the most obvious and poor choice of booking on WWE’s behalf. Almost every single NXT call-up these days get to squash a local talent upon their television debut on the main roster and personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if SAnitY is being treated the same way as well.

Young, Dain, and Wolfe absolutely annihilate a few enhancement talents in their first match on the main roster and make a living example out of them and subsequently send a message to the rest of the locker room. This definitely does feel like a formidable debut, but will certainly lack the adequate amount of impact you’d expect from a big debut like this.

Personally, I’d look to avoid this option at any cost.

#2 SAnitY vs New Day!

Sanity vs New Day promises to be an amazing feud
SAnitY vs New Day promises to be an amazing feud

The New Day has pretty much established themselves as one of the most iconic trios in WWE history and is right up there with the likes of The Shield, who for one is quite arguably the most popular three-man stable of the modern day generation.

The trio of Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods have earned an immense amount of success over the years in WWE and are a former five-time WWE Tag Team Champions as well, therefore, having SAnitY feud with New Day and eventually defeat them in their first feud on the main roster, is eventually going to be a very solid start to SAnitY’s run on the main roster.

How I would book it: With everyone almost down and out from the upcoming Men's Money in the Bank ladder match, Kofi Kingston is looking to retrieve the MITB briefcase with the help of his fellow New Day buddies, Big E and Xavier Woods.

That’s when the lights go out for a split second in the arena, as we hear a huge pop from the WWE Universe, but, as soon as lights are back on, we still see no sign of SAnitY or anyone else for that matter, as the New Day members are seemingly shocked.

Moments later, the arena lights go out once again and this time we see the words ‘Chaos has arrived.’ on the big screen as the crowd at the Allstate Arena goes nuts and SAnitY finally makes their presence felt, as three hooded men run-in from the WWE Universe and take out the entire New Day from the MITB ladder match and brutally beat the living hell out of Kofi, Big E, and Woods as well.

#1 The money feud: SAnitY vs The Club

Sanity vs The Club has money written all over it
SAnitY vs The Club has money written all over it

A few days ago at a WWE house show in Waco, Texas, SAnitY competed in their first match on the main roster when they lost to the duo of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson via disqualification, thanks to an outside interference from ‘The Beast of Belfast’ Killian Dain.

Thus, this somewhat gave us an idea that SAnitY’s first major feud on the main roster could very well be against The Good Brothers, who now have the opportunity to win the SD Live Tag Titles later this month, but much like the previous occasion, let SAnitY cause another distraction and cost Gallows and Anderson the tag team titles at Money in the Bank.

This would seemingly ignite a feud between the former Raw Tag Team Champions against two members of Sanity—Young and Wolfe for that matter.

Later on at the MITB PPV, SAnitY once again runs in-between another on-going title match, as the menacing trio decides to attack WWE Champion AJ Styles on this occasion, in Styles’ title defense against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match.

After Young, Dain, and Wolfe’s brutal attack on ‘The Phenomenal One’, the challenger Shinsuke Nakamura could eventually go on to take advantage of the entire situation and additionally hit a Kinshasa on Styles to make sure that the champion stays down for the ten count and thus, we witness the crowing of a new champion.

Now, capitalizing on the SAnitY’s momentum and heat, the WWE needs to instantly make sure that on the next night on SmackDown Live, we witness The Club address the entire situation surrounding SAnitY and subsequently call-out the former NXT Tag Champs in the process, only to be kept hanging.

However, the cunning Eric Young and his stablemates eventually decide to catch The Club off-guard in the coming weeks as it finally leads to a mega-showdown between the two groups at this year’s SummerSlam.
