Axel Tischer is a German professional wrestler working on the independent circuit. He is a former NXT Tag Team Champion.

Professional Wrestling Career


Independent Circuit (2004-2015)


In 2004, Tischer began his professional wrestling career at the age of 13. He extensively wrestled for several German and European promotions before moving to the states. In 2012, he won the wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship.


WWE (2015-2021)


Sanity (2015-2019)


In 2015, Tischer signed with WWE and began working for NXT. In 2016, he debuted as Alexander Wolfe and joined Sanity. They entered the Dusty Rhodes Classic but lost. At TakeOver Brooklyn III, they defeated Authors of Pain to win the NXT Tag Team Championship.


In December, they lost the titles to The Undisputed Era. In 2018, they were drafted to SmackDown. At Extreme Rules, they defeated The New Day in a tables match. The stable spent a year on the main roster before breaking up during the next draft.

Imperium (2019-2021)


In June, Wolfe went to NXT UK and joined Imperium. The stable made an appearance on RAW in November and lost. Wolfe spent most of his time on NXT UK, along with Imperium. At Worlds Collide, Imperium defeated The Undisputed Era. On NXT, he lost to Killian Dain and was removed from the stable. After his release, he returned to the independent circuit.
