5 Post-Wrestlemania Raw Predictions

Monday Night Raw
Monday Night Raw

The Raw after Wrestlemania is a magical night for wrestling fans. Not just the fans in the arena, but fans all over the world can tune in and get involved in what always ends up becoming one of the more rowdy (no pun intended) nights on the WWE calendar.

With fans still on a metaphorical high from the night before, it really is one of the most engaging nights to be a WWE fan.

Primarily, due to WWE's recent decision making regarding the first post-Mania Raw episode. They often take the heightened send of fan anticipation as a clear indicator to produce something wild, weird or simply unexpected.

With this in mind, here are five post-Wrestlemania Raw predictions.

#5 Brock Lesnar disappears entirely from WWE

UFC 200: Tate v Nunes
Lesnar has been tipped to return to UFC

It's widely expected that 'The Conqueror' will be dropping his Universal title to Roman Reigns in New Orleans to pave his own way for a re-vamped run in the UFC.

Lesnar, who is currently one of the highest paid athletes in WWE, hasn't exactly played-down these rumours either, sharing a friendly photo with UFC president Dana White several weeks ago on social media.

Given this photo was taken on the night Lesnar should have been at Raw, it could be a pretty good indication of where his loyalties lie.

I don't know about you, but Brock strikes me as the 'no-goodbyes' type of guy. Also, if he really is jumping ship back to UFC, it might be best to bow out gracefully to the better man at Wrestlemania than risk considerable fan backlash on Monday Night Raw.

#4 Brother Nero makes his RAW debut

Would we see The Charismatic Enigma have a change in persona?

Jeff Hardy has been out of action for a considerable amount of time now. However, he was able to make an appearance in his Brother Nero persona during Matt Hardy's Ultimate Deletion match against Bray Wyatt.

This has led many to speculate that a return is imminent. But, will we be saying goodbye to the charismatic enigma and hello to Brother Nero?

Bookies currently are leaning on a Wrestlemania return for The Charismatic Enigma, but I think it would make much more sense for him to return the very next night, offering him the chance to debut the Brother Nero character in his own spotlight.

#3 Rousey makes her intentions clear

Ronda Rousey coming to the WWE was so widely rumoured and circulated it was all but a guarantee right up until she eventually made her first appearence.

Now, she faces Triple H and Stephanie McMahon alongside Kurt Angle in her very first match at Wrestlemania. Although, the former UFC champion might already have other plans.

Rumours are circulating that Rousey is being primed for a year-long feud with Asuka, who is expected to be walking out of New Orleans with Charlotte Flair's belt around her waist.

#2 Samoa Joe returns and demands a title shot

Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe could be the first man to challenge Reigns

Much like Hardy, Samoa Joe's return in impending thanks to a recent appearance for WWE.

Many fans are speculating that due to their natural in-ring chemistry (and with Brock Lesnar presumably out of the picture) Joe will be the first man to challenge newly crowned Universal champion Roman Reigns.

Joe brings a tenacity to the ring that makes almost any match of his not just enjoyable, but believable. Are we in for an all-Samoan world title feud?

#1 The American Badass returns to bid farewell?

Unless you've been living under a rock you'll be well aware of John Cena's attempts to draw Undertaker out of apparent retirement for a match at Wrestlemania.

Chances are that's what we are getting, with The Deadman taking advantage of his American Badass gimmick one last time. But, what if something else is planned?

Recent reports are suggesting that, due to the already inflated Wrestlemania card, the Taker/Cena Wrestlemania element will be nothing more than a confrontation to fuel the fire for what will be an eventual clash at Wrestlemania 35.

However, if this is not the case and the two truly end up locking horns, this will presumably be the final match of Undertaker's career, meaning a lavish farewell ceremony will be billed for Monday Night Raw. After all, it is tradition.
