Nikki Cross is set to face Bayley for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship at the upcoming pay-per-view, Clash of Champions. Cross is a big threat for Bayley, as she assaulted her with a steel chair minutes before entering the recent Fatal Four-Way qualifying match - also involving Alexa Bliss - on SmackDown.

Cross' chance at earning a title shot was almost scuppered by her best friend Alexa Bliss. During the match, Bliss snapped into a trance-like state after The Fiend was mentioned by the commentary team. Then, she attacked Cross with Sister Abigail before walking out of the match.

Alexa Bliss forfeiting her chance at winning the No. 1 contender match shows just how little the SmackDown Women's Championship means to her in comparison to The Fiend.

Due to this, it could cause her to ruin Cross' shot at the title, especially if she comes to the ring to support her friend like usual.

If The Fiend is mentioned during the title match at Clash of Champions, Alexa Bliss could become involved in the strange state that she falls into when she hears his name.

If Bliss involves herself in the match, there is potential for her to use Sister Abigail on Bayley... or Nikki Cross.
