Seth Rollins and Keith Lee have been seen in the ring together previously. They have shared the ring at Survivor Series 2020 and 2019, both times in the traditional Survivor Series elimination matches.

In 2019, Keith Lee was the last star standing for Team NXT before he was eliminated by Roman Reigns who took the win for SmackDown, and in 2020, Seth Rollins was the first man out whereas Keith Lee was on the winning Team RAW.

Seth Rollins hasn't been seen on WWE programming since Survivor Series 2020, where he purposely allowed Sheamus to eliminate him from Team RAW and Team SmackDown's 5-on-5 elimination match. Since he has been absent from television, Rollins has become a father for the first time with fellow WWE Superstar Becky Lynch.

At the moment, Seth Rollins is a part of SmackDown, whereas Keith Lee is a RAW Superstar. However, stars have moved back-and-forth from different rosters despite the brand split. On some occasions, stars have made special appearances on different brands, especially around Survivor Series season.

Seth Rollins and Keith Lee were also in a Triple Threat match with Randy Orton, battling for a chance during the number one contenders match for Drew McIntyre's WWE Championship, which was won by Orton.
