The Miz and The Intercontinental Championship go hand in hand

The Miz is certainly the greatest Intercontinental Champion of the current era in WWE. He may even be the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, but that's a debate for another day. Therefore, we would not be surprised if The Miz were to win the title at the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The championship would only be coming home!

But that leaves RAW with no mid card championships, you then say! Every pay-per-view event going forward will be co-branded, and there's no reason why a RAW superstar can't win it from The Miz at Backlash. Maybe Rollins wins it back in his contractual rematch.

The fact of the matter is that The Miz and the Intercontinental Championship are quite inseparable indeed. WWE may want to give him yet another run with the title he so greatly elevated.
