Will the Authors of Pain go their separate ways?

We all remember the circumstances that drew Buddy Murphy into joining Seth Rollins and the Authors of Pain. In case you’ve forgotten, let’s take a jog down memory lane.

Murphy was in a rivalry with Aleister Black that saw him lose three matches consecutively. Murphy was left broken until Rollins approached him for help during a match that saw Rollins, Akam, and Rezar take on Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens, and Big Show. Murphy obliged and attacked Big Show, helping Rollins and the AOP win the Fist Fight.

Now that both men are RAW Tag Team Champions, it’s interesting to see how Authors of Pain, who are former NXT Tag Team Champions and RAW Tag Team Champions, have been snubbed out of the RAW Tag Team Championships scene. Many fans had the opinion that Authors of Pain should have won the RAW Tag Team Championships from The Viking Raiders rather than Rollins and Murphy.

With that in mind, Akam and Rezar will likely be bitter and look to get back in the race for the RAW Tag Team title. We could see them attack and take out Murphy, leaving Rollins on his own and leading to the duo losing the titles before walking away.

This would make things much more interesting as Rollins is trying to build a force of followers and with him initial two disciples turning on him, his task will just get much tougher.
