R-Truth’s childhood hero John Cena will be appearing on SmackDown this week, and he could be in line to make a huge announcement.

Cena, who has slowly drifted away from the world of wrestling and gone into showbiz instead, is a 16-time World Champion. However, Cena has never won the Universal Championship in his career even though he is one of the biggest household names in the WWE Universe.

Goldberg just won the Universal Championship once again as a 53-year-old, and that could inspire the Doctor of Thuganomics to also go after the big blue belt to add another trophy to his case.

This week, we could watch Cena come out and simply express his desire to fight in a match at WrestleMania 36 and do something that Goldberg did and win a big title.
