#1. Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal re-debuted in 2016 and has progressed exponentially. At Backlash in 2017 Mahal received his first major push when he defeated Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. However, he eventually lost to it to AJ Styles.
On the most recent episode of Raw Mahal competed with Seth Rollins. Thier match was exciting and perhaps indicates the future. It could mean that WWE is leveraging Mahal to challenge Rollins for his championship. However, let us not forget Mahal is feuding with Roman Reigns. Ultimately fans could argue that Mahal is undeserving to challenge Rollins. However, unlike Balor and Reigns, for example, he has never held this championship. Moreover, just imagine a rematch to determine the first NXT Champion. Therefore, WWE should allow Balor to his deserved Universal Championship rematch, and afford Mahal a shot at Rollins.
