#4: Chad Gable and Otis may become long-term tag team stars on WWE SmackDown

Technically, Otis and Chad Gable are already involved in a storyline right now. Gable has attempted to recruit Otis as his first client for the Alpha Academy, but there have also been signs that this could be a manipulative trap laid by Gable on WWE SmackDown.

If Gable's motives turn out to be genuine, a tag team between Gable and Otis could benefit WWE SmackDown in several ways. Yes, it would also mean that breaking up Heavy Machinery didn't make much sense if Otis was to become a tag team star again. But at the same time, Chad Gable is a more viable option than Tucker at the moment.

This could also act as the main catalyst behind how Gable will make Otis realize his full potential in the long run.

While Chad Gable would bring a higher level of athletic ability to Otis and his tag team matches, Otis is a constant source of entertainment which would also help keep Gable relevant on the main roster.

Both of them have always been underdogs at some point, but their difference in character is something that would make for an interesting tag team on WWE SmackDown.
