5 Potential WWE tag teams that could benefit SmackDown

Carmella is set to face Sasha Banks for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship at the TLC Pay-Per-View. The Legit Boss will most likely retain the title that she won a little more than a month ago.

Carmella's new heel diva gimmick could get lost in the shuffle if WWE doesn't book her in a stable non-title program once the Banks rivalry is put to bed.

This is where Tamina could be used properly. She hasn't been booked in a newsworthy program for months, and Tamina acting as Carmella's bodyguard could add more legitimacy to the latter star's 'UNTOUCHABLE' gimmick.

The WWE Women's Tag Team Championships are mostly featured on RAW, but Carmella and Tamina's diva-bodyguard pairing is something that could work outside of the Blue brand's women's tag team division as well.

The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan) are the only established female tag team on SmackDown right now, and they could certainly benefit from an actual tag team feud against the potential duo of Carmella and Tamina.
