The Miz and Maryse have been known as The IT Couple of WWE ever since the former Divas Champion made her return to the company back in 2016. Miz and Maryse met when they were working for WWE and whilst the couple didn't hit it off at the start, they later started dating following their storyline together on SmackDown.

Before Miz and Maryse started a family and welcomed their two daughters, Maryse was an integral part of Miz's storylines on WWE and the couple were part of a feud with Nikki Bella and John Cena heading into WrestleMania back in 2017. The main point of the feud centered around the fact that John Cena was yet to ask Nikki to marry him and The Miz and Maryse made jokes about this to get under the couple's skin.

At WrestleMania, it was John Cena and Nikki Bella who came out on top with both The Miz and his wife being forced to tap out at The Grandest Stage of them All.
