AJ Styles and Omos could eventually feud with each other in WWE

Historically in WWE, partnerships, associations and alliances do not end well. The same can likely be said for AJ Styles and Omos. AJ Styles currently has Omos serving as his bodyguard/associate to protect him on Monday Night RAW. In return, AJ Styles also serves as a mentor-like figure to the giant WWE Superstar as he develops his in-ring skills and abilities.

However, the time will come when Omos outgrows the tutelage of the former WWE Champion and decides to step out and carve his own path. This will likely involve some form of physical altercation between AJ Styles and Omos, leading to a match or series of matches, at some point in the future.

To make the eventual implosion of AJ Styles and Omos truly mean something, WWE must create a bond between the two that the WWE Universe in attendance and watching at home can relate to. This comes in the form of AJ Styles and Omos becoming tag team partners. By becoming tag team partners and winning the RAW Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 37, it increases the bond between the student, Omos, and the teacher, AJ Styles.

It will therefore be even more heartbreaking when either AJ Styles or Omos eventually turn on one or the other. By winning the RAW Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania it sets up the eventual AJ Styles vs Omos match in the future and raises the emotional stakes, which is solid long-term storytelling.
