Bobby Lashley should surpass 'Mania 37 as the champion
Bobby Lashley heading into WrestleMania 37 as the WWE Champion should be the one and only ideal scenario from here onwards. While WWE cannot afford to play the game of "hot potato" with the WWE Championship, the company simultaneously also needs to make sure that Lashley is the champion after WrestleMania 37, as well.

Don’t worry about me @DMcIntyreWWE. I’ll be here waiting. You got enough to worry about with @WWESheamus. Impress me though. Show me you have what it takes to go one-on-one with the All Mighty. #WWERawhttps://t.co/ciRw6ETWG7
As things stand, it is likely for Bobby Lashley to defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37. Given that the former was at fault for McIntyre losing the title at Elimination Chamber in the first place, it would make sense for WWE to book Lashley and McIntyre in a program heading into the biggest annual WWE event of the year.
However, having Bobby Lashley retain the title beyond WrestleMania 37 will not only establish his place as a dominant champion but WWE also avoids Lashley being a transitional champion only for McIntyre to win the belt back at WrestleMania. A successful title defense at The Grandest Stage of Them All sure would help Lashley's cause of establishing himself as a truly dominant champion.
