Bobby Lashley has held the WWE Championship for more than a hundred days. Compared to the previous three title reigns, it is undoubtedly the longest. The last champion, The Miz, held the gold for eight days. The A-Lister's predecessor, Drew McIntyre, was the title holder for 97 days. The man McIntyre defeated to win the top prize, Randy Orton, was champion for an underwhelming 22 days.

However, Lashley's effort, dedication, and heart warrant a considerably lengthy WWE Championship reign. It took The All Mighty nearly two decades to finally win the most prestigious prize in sports entertainment. At the age of 44, this could be his first and only run with the title. He needs to make it memorable and historic, which requires more time.

If Lashley gets past The Scottish Warrior, he will most probably hold on to the title until SummerSlam.

While fan interest for Monday Night RAW is dwindling, Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship reign has been a silver lining thus far.
