The WWE Performance Center is filled with future WWE Superstars readying themselves and training to become mainstays on RAW, SmackDown, and even NXT.

Over the past twelve months on Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan has attempted to help elevate and put over younger or less established talent on the blue brand.

Daniel Bryan has competed in compelling matches against the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Jey Uso, Otis and more. It has become apparent that Daniel Bryan wants to leave the industry in a better place than he found it.

Should Daniel Bryan re-sign with WWE, a move to the NXT brand would begin the process of Daniel Bryan becoming a trainer at the WWE Performance Center, setting up his post-retirement WWE career.

The former WWE Champion has openly spoken about reducing his schedule as an active wrestler. Therefore it could be concluded that Daniel Bryan's days inside of the ring are beginning to wind down. Moving to NXT would easily facilitate the gradual transition of Daniel Bryan from an in-ring competitor to a behind the scenes trainer at the WWE Performance Center.
