It's no secret that WWE wants to revisit Edge versus Randy Orton at some point, and recent rumor has it that Vince McMahon wants it to be for the WWE title. Interestingly enough, McMahon apparently wants to save this match for next year's WrestleMania, which would mean a very lengthy title reign for Orton.
Orton versus Edge part three deserves a marquee venue like WrestleMania 37, and putting the title on Orton could be a very good start to that. In fact, it could result in one of the most cathartic moments in WWE history and give Edge a title run that fans never thought would happen a few months ago.
In all honesty, Orton is one of the biggest figures in WWE right now and he's a big reason why fans are watching. Beyond that, his theme of brutalizing legends and going on unhinged attacks has made for great television, which is why WWE should put the title on him and build to Edge versus Orton.
