"The A-Lister" The Miz holds the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase, which allows him to cash-in on the champion of his choice at any time or any place without notice. He won the briefcase at Hell in a Cell where he defeated Otis after his best friend Tucker betrayed him. Miz won his first Money in the Bank contract in July 2010. He later became WWE Champion the same year by pinning Randy Orton.

The Awesome One has teased and attempted to cash-in on multiple occasions, but a vengeful and livid Drew McIntyre has thwarted him. The Fiend is also looming in the background, further hindering the Awesome One's chances of successfully cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.

However, The Miz will have to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract sooner rather than later. When that happens, the reality TV star should become the new WWE Champion. There are several reasons why The Awesome One should successfully cash-in his Money in the Bank contract, preferably on Randy Orton, to win the WWE Championship.

#5. The Miz is one of WWE's most consistent, talented, and dedicated performers

The Awesome One isn't given enough credit for the amount of hard work and commitment he has put into his wrestling career. The Miz is one of the longest-tenured stars on the main roster as he has competed for more than 12 years. During this time period, he has proven to be a consistent and reliable performer, who always puts on a show for the WWE Universe.

He oozes charisma, and his promos are near-impeccable; he elevates the competition and raises the bar. In recent years, he has put on some incredible matches. His match with Seth Rollins at Backlash 2018 was a match of the year candidate and his matches with Dolph Ziggler in late 2016 are also high-regarded, specifically No Mercy.

The eight-time Intercontinental Champion is a talented in-ring performer and one of the best talkers of all time.

#4. The Miz's WWE title win would be a major surprise that could have far-reaching implications

WWE loves to catch fans off-guard with an unexpected twist. The Money in the Bank contract opens the door for such surprises as the contract holder is virtually guaranteed to become world champion if they act smart and sensible. Over the years, fans have witnessed some memorable Money in the Bank cash-ins. Seth Rollins stunned the world with "The Heist of the Century" when he cashed in his contract during the main event of WrestleMania 31. Even The Miz's Money in the Bank cash-in in 2010 was unpredictable.

Having The Miz become WWE Champion at this stage of the year during such unprecedented times would be a shocking moment that could alter the landscape of WWE. It would add a new dimension to WWE programming as the Miz would completely shift the focus away from more anticipated stars. This abrupt title win could also boost ratings for the next few weeks.

It would be a gamble, but if WWE books the cash-in sensibly and naturally, it could work wonders.

#3. The Miz's first WWE Championship reign was a colossal failure

In retrospect, The Miz's first WWE Championship reign was a failed project. Flanked by his former protege Alex Riley, The Miz portrayed a cowardly and weak heel, who was consistently overshadowed by John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, and The Rock. Moreover, The "New" Nexus was also running rampant during that time period as another factor that took the attention off the reigning WWE Champion, The Miz. WrestleMania 27 is a prime example of this.

Many people might not remember this, but The Miz headlined WrestleMania 27 with Cena. At the event, he walked out of the event as the WWE Champion, but he was one of the night's biggest losers as The Rock hit him with the Rock Bottom to close out the show. WrestleMania 27 ended up weakening his character and damaging his mystique. He lost the WWE Championship to John Cena and was quietly phased out of the title picture.

With The Rock and Cena out of the picture now, there are very few Superstars who could undermine The Miz now. It's time for The Miz to enjoy a proper WWE Championship reign, one that expresses just how great a star he is.

#2. WrestleMania 37 takes place in The Miz's wheelhouse Hollywood

From a pure storyline perspective, The Miz is the most logical and suitable candidate to head into WrestleMania 37 in Los Angeles with the WWE Championship. The self-proclaimed A-lister claims to be a huge Hollywood star. While the WWE Universe may not agree with The Miz, Mr. Money in the Bank has enjoyed decent success in the film industry as a movie star.

The Most Must-See Superstar loves to remind the WWE Universe of just how big of a star he is on the silver screen. The ever-boastful and arrogant Miz, along with his wife Maryse and their daughter, is also a reality TV star. Needless to say, his obsession with Hollywood and the film industry should play into WrestleMania. The Miz considers Tinseltown his second home. So, it would be fitting for him to step on The Grandest Stage of Them All with the WWE Championship around his waist.

Moreover, The Miz has already expressed desires to headline WrestleMania 37 when WWE announced Hollywood as the location. He even threatened to "quit" if that doesn't happen. Of course, it could all be a ruse, but it would be intriguing to watch this play out on television.

#1. The possibilities are endless with The Miz as WWE Champion

The WWE roster is loaded with talent for The Miz to work with. RAW, WWE's flagship show, is the home of some of the most passionate and skilled athletes in the industry.

A myriad of opportunities would present themselves if the Miz were to become WWE Champion. His potential challengers would include The Fiend, Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee, Jeff Hardy, Ricochet, and Matt Riddle. These wouldn't be the typical blockbuster dream matches that fans have come accustomed to seeing, but they would surely entertain them.

Someone like Mustafa Ali, Elias, Tucker, or Sheamus would also make for an intriguing challenger. Heel versus heel programs are rare, but they can produce engaging segments. Many talented Superstars in the back could enter a WWE Championship program with The Miz.

WWE could also choose to renew The Miz's rivalry with John Morrison. Before Morrison left in 2011, he was embroiled in a personal feud with The Miz. The WWE Championship is the ultimate prize, and John Morrison has never won it. It would irk him a bit to watch his friend win it twice.

Let's not forget about John Cena. The Leader of Cenation and The Miz have faced off countless times, but the stakes would be extremely high if they were to face off at WrestleMania 37 next year.
