5 reasons to be excited about the XFL
This. Is. The. XFL.
The XFL’s return was officially announced a few weeks back by none other than Vince McMahon, and most people are still trying to come to terms with the news. The American football spin-off league was first introduced back in the early noughties, only for it to cease operations after just one season.
Now, however, McMahon is hoping to find more success as he dives head first back into the market that saw him lose more than $100 million back in 2001.
It’s certainly not going to be easy and there’s a good chance it’ll fail again, but as fans of WWE and supporters of Vince’s work, we’re interested to see where this goes. After all, there’s only so much negativity we can handle, so why not choose to take a more positive approach to something like this?
With that being said, here are five reasons to be excited about the XFL.
#5 HHH Takeover
No, we aren’t talking about the kind of Takeovers that NXT has.
We’re talking about a company-wide takeover, which we believe is imminent for The Game Triple H. After all, Vince is going to be seriously invested in making sure that the XFL is a resounding success, and we’ve seen evidence of HHH being given more and more responsibility over the last few years.
Perhaps McMahon has been grooming Triple H, aka Paul Levesque, for this role ever since he decided that the return of the XFL was actually going to happen. Many fans have pointed towards Vince when criticising the current product, so logically speaking, those same fans should be extremely excited about the idea of The Game running the day to day operations of the company.
