Whether you love him or you hate him, nobody can deny that Vince puts his heart and soul into every single business venture that he takes part in. Whether it be a lost cause or not, he’ll never stop trying to ensure the best possible outcome – and while that may not always make him a fan favourite, it certainly produces results.

Just take a look at the Monday Night Wars and the WWE Network as two perfect examples. There was a time when both projects weren’t going particularly well, with WCW beating WWE in the ratings and the Network not producing enough subscribers. Thankfully, Vince stuck to his guns and managed to come out of the other side on top.

It may take some time, but McMahon wouldn’t be doing this if he didn’t think the XFL could succeed.
