Lashley's matches in the WWE right now aren't anything the fans would be glued to. When he made his return on the RAW after WrestleMania 34, the crowd was excited to see him face then Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Here we are two years later and neither has Lashley had a match against Lesnar nor has he even challenged for the WWE or Universal Championships.
Lashley has run through many opponents but when it comes to giving him the main event feud that would make fans notice him, WWE has dropped the ball. The fans were all over him when he returned but somewhere down the line, the fans lost that fire they had for him.

About the author
Kishan Prasad
Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
