Bobby Lashley deserves a run that puts him forward as a formidable contender for the WWE Championship. He was closing in on that spot when he had Lio Rush on his side. Rush made Bobby Lashley interesting outside the ring. Lashley's promos weren't the best and WWE took note of that and put Lio Rush on his side.

With Rush on his side, Lashley got more time in front of the WWE fans and captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship twice. After Rush was removed from Lashley's corner, The All-Mighty hasn't done much that is worth of note.
WWE included him in a feud with Rusev that turned Lana and Rusev's marriage into a love triangle. None of the WWE fans were sold on this angle. But WWE rolled with it for over two months.
Now, finally, that Lashley has MVP on his side, it may be a good time to build Lashley's character from scratch and make him relevant in the eyes of the fans. WWE must build Lashley as a monster who would be a legitimate threat to Drew McIntyre's WWE Championship reign.

Kishan Prasad
Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
