#4 If he cashes in unsuccessfully

An unsuccessful cash-in for the third consecutive year?
An unsuccessful cash-in for the third consecutive year?

The second outcome of Lesnar's cash-in could be an unsuccessful attempt from the Beast. While no one wants to see Lesnar cash-in successfully and win the title, an unsuccessful cash-in would mean the third straight time Mr. Money in the Bank was not able to win the title with the cash-in.

Baron Corbin won the briefcase in 2017 and cashed it on Jinder Mahal unsuccessfully after John Cena interfered and helped Jinder retain. Last year, it was the Monster among Men Braun Strowman who won the briefcase and cashed in on Roman inside Hell in a Cell only for Brock Lesnar to interfere and cause a DQ ending to the match to ruin Braun's attempt.

A third straight unsuccessful attempt might dampen the impressive record of the MITB contract which once used to almost guarantee a title win for Mr Money in the Bank.
