Cena has accumulated 25 total Championships, with 16 being WWE Championships
Okay, I'll be the first to admit, I don't buy into the notion that a professional wrestler is defined by the number of title's he or she has won over the course of their respective career. Afterall, the final decision of who will or will not adorn the top prize is ultimately in the hands of those who make creative decisions.

However, there is something to be said about the individual holding the title, when they elevate the overall status of the championship. When John Cena carries a title, he goes into overdrive, working tirelessly to preserve the prestige of that particular title. Regardless if it's the United States Championship or the WWE Championship if Cena is holding it, you can rest assured he will risk life and limb to make sure the title is held in the highest regard.
Throughout his career, John Cena has won a total of 25 championships in all, with 16 of those being WWE Championships. With the current climate of WWE's storylines, it is possible that he will capture his 17th WWE Championship title victory in the coming weeks. There was a time when I would be 100% opposed to seeing Cena win another title. However, I have come around and while there are others I would love to see win the strap, Cena is no longer my worst case scenario.

Jonathan believes integrity is vital in journalism and ensures his work is high on accuracy. He conducts in-depth research and verifies information from various sources before curating a feature.

He grew up in Memphis, admiring Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan during WWE’s Golden Era in the ‘80s. He has attended many pro wrestling events and credits The Hulkster for making his childhood memorable.
Jonathan, a big fan of Bray Wyatt, would like to see the latter's brother, Bo Dallas, continue his legacy as Uncle Howdy. If he were to work on the storyline, Jonathan would book the return of Erick Rowan as Howdy’s muscle. He thinks it would be a great way to honor the former Universal Champion.
When not writing pro wrestling features, Jonathan likes to collect sports memorabilia and has amassed a large collection of event-used and autographed relics over the years.
