It's going to be interesting to see what John Morrison's role in WWE will be. He would probably want a contract like Matt Hardy's as the legend had been away for the longest time and seemed to have quite a bit of time to himself and away from the ring.

When Morrison left, it was because he wanted more control of his time and to be away from the rigorous WWE schedule. As we know, the schedule is a grueling one for a full-time performer and it's hard to be on the road most of the time.

However, there's one of two possibilities here. Either he decided to put away his other career aside for the time being, or one of the main clauses of his contract stated that he has a more relaxed schedule that will allow him to pursue outside ventures as well. We think it's the latter and that's one of the reasons he signed with WWE.
