Renee Young has remained with WWE whilst her husband has opted to walk away, and the main reason for this could be because there was always a plan to bring him back.
Over the past few months, Young and Ambrose's relationship has become a huge talking point on WWE TV but whilst he was a heel she was unable to juggle her character on commentary and talk about her personal life.
If Moxley made his return to WWE on the SmackDown Live brand away from his wife, then he would have a lot more creativity. It would also allow him to be the heel that he needs to be as Jon Moxley, since Young was interestingly one of the reasons that Ambrose's heel turn failed, but only one of the reasons; there were a number of them.
