Sami Zayn defeated Braun Strowman in a Falls Count Anywhere match last night on RAW, and subsequently took the Monster Among Men's spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. Sami Zayn, the Underdog from Underground, is an exceptional addition to the ladder match, as he has performed exceedingly well in past ladder matches.
Sami Zayn returned from a year-long absence due to injury and debuted a new gimmick in April. He is essentially the anti-CM Punk, putting all the blame on the fans instead of the McMahon Family.
Sami Zayn participated in the WWE Championship match last week on SmackDown Live and was pinned by Kofi Kingston. However, his performance in the match propelled the WWE authorities to reward him with a spot in the ladder match.

#5: Best wrestler on the roster

It is quite surprising and baffling to think that a man of Zayn's abilities has never won anything on the main roster. Zayn is a former NXT Champion, but he has not bagged any gold whatsoever on the main roster.
On the contrary, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn's "best friend", debuted around the same time as Sami and has won several championships. Zayn deserves a crowning moment, and the MITB is the right time to do so!

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have a storied rivalry in WWE, from NXT to the main roster. Both of these superstars are currently heels, with Owens turning to the dark side last month after attacking Kofi Kingston.
Kevin Owens is currently scheduled to face Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. Imagine Owens finally winning the WWE Championship, only for Sami Zayn to cash in his MITB briefcase and win his first ever title in WWE!
These two superstars are destined to fight forever, and their rivalry should involve the WWE Championship sooner rather than later.
