5 Reasons why Seth Rollins chose Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35

Seth Rollins won the 2019 men's WWE Royal Rumble match, earning himself a world title shot at WrestleMania 35.

Rollins came out on RAW and revealed that his childhood dream had been to win the Royal Rumble and then main event WrestleMania. Triple H came out and congratulated him before letting him know that he had till the end of the night to make his decision.

Rollins was supposed to reveal who he wanted to face - Daniel Bryan or Brock Lesnar - at the end of WWE RAW, but that didn't really go as planned. After Paul Heyman suggested that Rollins choose Daniel Bryan instead of 'The Beast', Rollins came out and attacked Brock Lesnar before getting destroyed.

Even though Rollins never got to make his decision, here why we think he chose Lesnar.

#5 Redemption for his brother

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns' feud over the WWE Universal Championship seemed never-ending at one point. Every time that we thought it was over and Reigns would finally win the Universal Championship, Lesnar retained.

Reigns finally won the title at SummerSlam but had to relinquish it shortly after on one of the most emotional episodes of RAW - announcing that he was leaving the WWE to battle leukaemia again.

Brock Lesnar later won back the vacant Universal Championship, taking it back to being an absentee title, something that Reigns had railed against.

After winning the WWE Royal Rumble, Rollins now has a chance to change this, not only for himself but also for Roman Reigns. This is a chance Rollins won't miss.

#4 They have a history

Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar have a long history.

Rollins cashed-in his Money In The Bank at WrestleMania 31 during the main-event to win the WWE Championship.

He feuded with Lesnar over the next few months but as a cowardly heel, he never really got to show what he could do against Brock and the feud only ended after The Undertaker and Lesnar started feuding.

#3 Brock has run through the other babyfaces

Even Strowman couldn't beat Lesnar

Let's face it. Brock Lesnar is one of the most protected Champion's in WWE history and at this point, 'The Beast' has run through just about every top babyface in WWE.

He's beaten Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, Roman Reigns and Finn Balor amongst others and there are no legitimate babyface challengers left. However, as I pointed out before, Rollins took the title off Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. He's also one of the top babyfaces on RAW and one of the most popular stars on the red brand.

Add to this that Rollins has been in the form of his life for over a year and this makes it an easy booking decision for WWE. The fans are behind Rollins and they also need a top babyface to take Roman Reigns' place until he gets healthy. Rollins is already there in popularity and all he needs is to beat Lesnar at WrestleMania to cement himself.

#2 Rollins already called Brock out on WWE RAW

With RAW's ratings being low in December 2018, some fans may actually have missed this moment but Seth Rollins actually called out Brock Lesnar on WWE RAW.

On the December 10th, 2018 episode of WWE RAW, Rollins called out Baron Corbin for doing a terrible job as the RAW GM. While listing all of Corbin's terrible decisions as General Manager, Rollins also buried his decision to "hand" the title back to Lesnar.

Rollins also added that the champion was never actually on the show and also that the last time Lesnar had actually wrestled on RAW was way back in 2002.

After that promo, Rollins has to be the one to face Lesnar. He's already called out Brock and even though fans may have forgotten it, it has set up this feud perfectly.

#1 Lesnar just destroyed Seth Rollins on WWE RAW

Even if you don't agree with any of the other points on this list, this one must settle it, right? After Brock Lesnar ruthlessly destroyed Seth Rollins on WWE RAW, Rollins has to choose Lesnar now.

After Paul Heyman suggested Rollins choose Daniel Bryan as his opponent at WrestleMania for his own safety, Seth Rollins came out and went face-to-face with 'The Beast'. After Lesnar laughed in his face, Rollins attacked 'The Beast', going for his injured ribs. Rollins looked to finish the job with a Curb Stomp but Lesnar had other plans.

Lesnar hit Rollins with 4 F5's followed by a fifth, this time on the WWE Universal Championship belt. As Lesnar started to walk away, Rollins called him out again, making Brock dish out a 6th F5.

Rollins clearly has his sights set on 'The Beast' and the only question is, will he conquer him at WrestleMania?
