#4 It's a fresh pairing
Daniel Bryan is probably the most talented and versatile performer currently in WWE. He can jump easily from opponent to opponent and from one style to the next style. The former Champ is beloved by fans due to his natural charisma and likability. The Leader of the Yes Movement is also extremely willing to put others over and do whatever he can to help the company.
Throughout his WWE career, Bryan has volleyed himself from singles competitor to tag team specialist and from face to heel. Just last year we saw Bryan carry the WWE Championship and then the SmackDown Tag Team titles following the Show of Shows. He's so talented that he makes anything he is involved with work.
The next angle looks like a meeting of the minds between he and Gulak. Gulak has long been one of the more underrated talents in all of WWE. Several fans and Superstars alike know how talented he is. Even the former Cruiserweight Champ has gone from face to heel and serious to silly gimmick. The best performers can make anything work (see the New Day).
Gulak and Bryan are truly students of the game who respect the past, present and future of the business. Pairing them together is fresh and could lead both men to a renewed push on Friday nights.
