When the rumour of John Cena taking on The Undertaker at Wrestlemania first surfaced, the internet went wild. Every news outlet reported it and the fans were finally looking forward to Wrestlemania. Then the Roman Reigns train came through and all those hopes & dreams were squashed in an instant.

Fast forward a few months and now we're looking at an unexpected mixed tag team match. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen," sighed the internet. But alas all is not bad as we once feared.

John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse on the face of it sounds lacklustre but if we delve deeper into the feud, it's a gem. This match being added to the card has breathed a brand new lease of life into the event. All of a sudden, Wrestlemania looks far more complete with this feud on it.

Here are 5 reasons why the John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse match at Wrestlemania is best for business.

#5 Gives Miz a main event spot – the real reason behind this feud

Any match with John Cena is the main event at Wrestlemania, I don't care what anybody says. Cena's match on the card draws the most views and its the one that receives the most amount of attention after the show. The Miz deserves this spot on the card for his amazing performances throughout the year of 2016.

It would have been a tragedy if the Miz didn't receive a high-profile match at ‘Mania after all the work he had put in last year. A tag match with the face of the company makes it a very successful PPV for the Miz, regardless of the outcome.

#4 Maryse gets to showcase her wrestling talent

Maryse has wrestled over 55 matches

Judging by her ravishing looks and exquisite posture you'd do well to remember that the Canadian beauty is an accomplished wrestler. She has gone through the OVW developmental training and also wrestled on the independent circuits. She's multi-talented, to say the least.

Maryse won the coveted Divas Championship Tournament back in 2010 and she is also a 2-time Divas Champion.

The WWE Universe needs to be reminded of how good Maryse is in the ring and there's no better way to display that than to do it at Wrestlemania with the most famous women's wrestler in the company today. There's no doubt that Maryse will use the spotlight correctly to launch her career into another emphatic phase.

#3 Cena stays out of the title picture

John Cena’s 16th title reign only lasted for 14 days

After making history at the Royal Rumble, John Cena put Bray Wyatt over twice in the space of a few days. Many have always used Cena's constant presence in the title scene as a reason to discredit his greatness.

Now the WWE has taken him out of the title picture and people are still complaining, what more do you want?

This tag team match allows the face that runs the place to not only shine more light on the Miz but to keep the title picture fresh. Cena being in a prominent match on the card without the title still allows sufficient attention for the title match.

Perhaps further down the line after Cena comes back from his movie filming, he'll hopefully inject some great star power into the WWE Championship.

#2 Mainstream appeal

There are no two ways about it, John Cena & Nikki Bella are the IT couple of the WWE today. As well as being draws inside of the ring, they're attractions outside of it too. The spin-off Total Bellas show proves that, as well as Cena's several high-profile gigs on mainstream television.

Their gigantic social media following is also indicative of how popular the duo are in the real world. Their millions of fans worldwide would combine to pay special attention to this bout, making it a great spectacle for all ages.

This match could really be the launching pad that the couple needs to enter the next stratosphere of stardom. On the flip side, let's also not forget that the Miz himself is a movie star so he will also have casual viewers tuning in too.

#1 Miz and Cena's chemistry

For those who remember, the Miz and John Cena have always produced compelling television. The two have an undeniable on-screen chemistry, that leaves us on the edge of our seats.

The duo has feuded on several occasions, even main eventing Wrestlemania back in 2011. That alone should show you how good the two work together, many a Superstar can feud with Cena, only a few get to main event with him.

Miz has that honour and can take credit in setting off Cena's biggest feud ever in the form of the programme with The Rock. The Miz laid the foundation for that rivalry and should be pleased with his integral role in making the company millions.

Whether we want to accept it or not, the Miz is the best heel in the company today. Not only does he draw significant heat from any crowd he steps in front of but he also brings out the likeability in the babyface he's mouthing off to.

Take this week's episode of SmackDown as an example, Cena comes out to join Miz TV to a chorus of boos and after an exchange with the Miz, he left with cheers. Why? Because the Miz is that damn good.
