#4. Creative frustration

When The Revival supposedly asked for their release in January, they were told to wait it out and see how things change so that they could change their mind. The biggest source of their frustrations were the creative aspect of it, where they reportedly believed that the tag team division was completely mishandled.

This alone goes to show that the two of them really care about tag team wrestling, because anyone who has seen them in NXT knows the level in which they can perform when given the opportunity to do so.

Over the last few months, they did get a brief reign with the RAW Tag Team titles, but after WrestleMania, it really felt like it was back to square one. Perhaps for that reason, they haven't been satisfied on the creative front and want a change, something that WWE isn't willing to give. It's hard to blame The Revival.
